This impressive tower from medieval Galicia, has been converted into a special Parador. It dominates the landscape of the town, the centre of the Terra Chá area, which was once home of the Andrades, the counts of Vilalba. There are six rooms located in the tower, and forty two rooms in a newer stone building in the style of a pazo, a Galician country house. Among the gastronomic specialties in the restaurant are lacón con grelos (cooked pork with turnip greens), empanada de raxo (pork and potato pie), beef brochettes and the famous capón vilalbés (capon Vilalba-style). The Parador has standard double rooms with either two beds or a queen bed, and superior double rooms with two beds. There is a sauna and gym at this Parador.

Notes Try the conical shaped amber coloured cheese of San Simon - a product of the village. Local festivals include San Ramón y Santa María: 31 August/1 September, Vilalba. San Froilán: 4 October, Lugo. Feira Do Capon: 21 December, Vilalba.

Cancellation Policy:
A deposit equivalent to the first night's stay will be charged at the time of reserving. The remainder will be charged 30 days prior to the check-in date.
Reservations may be cancelled up to 72 hours before your reservation without penalty (Your deposits will be returned to you). If you cancel less than 72 hours before check-in, or in case of "no-show", the one-night deposit will be retained. If you shorten your stay once you have checked-in, the Parador may impose a penalty of one-nights stay.
