* 16th Century Renaissance Palace: View PDF
This Parador is in the Renaissance square of the historic town of Úbeda, next to some of the most beautiful buildings in town, in a former palace built in the 16th century and altered in the 17th, which belonged to the dean of the Sacred chapel of El Salvador. The façade of the Parador conceals a beautiful inner courtyard with a double gallery whose upper part is glazed. Its comfortable bedrooms have very high ceilings. Worthy of note are the six which look onto the square and the suite, located in the opposite corner, from which a wide panoramic view of the Vázquez de Molina square can be enjoyed. Andalusian details and dishes adorn the space occupied by the dining room, which offers good regional cuisine including peppers stuffed with partridge, bull's tail in red wine from La Loma and stewed kid with pine nuts. This Parador has a number of room types: double with view; double with two beds; double with queen bed; double with living room and hydromassage bath and special double (two beds). Parking is on the street. The nearest public parking is 250 metres from the Parador.

Very informative and helpful, and comfortable.

Excellent service. Lovely room - although for a hotel not full we appeared to have been assigned a room that was invaded by cooking smells - and privacy was a little bit lacking. A beautiful courtyard.
Didn't Like:
The bar smells of stale cigarette smoke and the breakfast buffet, while interesting, doesn't cater for simple tastes (I much prefer unsweetened muesli).

People at the reception, the excellent (big) room, the atmosphere in the hotel.

the restaurant was very good and the service friendly.
Rating: Very Good
Very spacious bedroom, though on front of hotel so some people/traffic noise. Extremely attractive hotel. Limited facilities for residents if superb interior courtyard used for private function.
Rating: Very Good
The street signs for the Parador were insufficient and incomplete. The hotel was difficult to find.
Rating: Good
A bit disappointed with the food.
Rating: Good
The room was disappointing, very austere, the lack of secure parking was also a problem but the restaurant was excellent.
Rating: Good
The Parador was undergoing major renovations at the time of our stay. We were not apprised of that in adveance.
Rating: Poor
it was under construction in the main part so the pretty part was not so pretty. Room was kind of boring with no view. A lot to spend on with these comments
