Trujillo was a second choice because of the closure of Caceres, but it was a lovely surprise. The Parador was nicely situated with a fine view. The food and restaurant staff were very good.
I don't know if this was a seasonal attraction but the chorus of birds in the evenings was breathtaking.
Didn't Like:
The check in staff were the least welcoming of any Parador.”

“Nowhere quiet to sit outside - I was not allowed to sit in the garden near the swimming pool which was odd. Otherwise a lovely place to stay”

“Fantastic atmosphere.Wonderfull buiding and accomodation. In all three hotels we had problems with the menus - translation especially of meat dishes was confusing. ie beef was described as veal. My wife does not eat veal but loves beef! Seeing other diners with lovely steaks made us wonder where we had gone wrong! ”

Location and building excellent. Breakfast was poor with slow service due to only two staff and food was not replenished or hot
