Mujedar inspired palace: View PDF

Located two kilometres from the centre of Teruel, this Parador is a perfect mix of cultures and styles of this historical city which has some excellent examples of Mudejar architecture. This small Mudejar inspired palace includes marble, tiling, pointed arches and Arabic details in the bright and spacious guestrooms. It also has a spacious garden, with a swimming pool and tennis court. The dining room offers a regional cuisine with dishes such as 'migas a la Pastora' (fried breadcrumbs and pork), 'caldereta de cordero' (lamb stew), 'sopa en Perolico' (poultry soup) and 'suspiros de Amante' (cheese and egg dessert). This Parador has forty two twin bedded rooms, twelve rooms with a double bed and six suites.

Festivals in Teruel include Bodas de Isabel de Segura (medieval recreation): February, Festival of the Angel: 1st fortnight of July, Teruel.la Vaquilla (July) and the Festival of Ham in September.

“Food was not as we had expected, but this is probably because we misunderstood the "english" menu. otherwise, we expect to be back. i think you should publicise that you have RED squirrels in the car park. these have been all but wiped out in the UK. may be a bit hot in the room - us scots like a "fresh" bedroom!!!!”
