The Hotel is in an exceptional location just 12 km. from Lake Sanabria, the biggest glacial lake in Spain. In the centre of the Sanabria area, on the frontier with Portugal, the Parador is ideal for those who enjoy nature as green tourism excursions and tours are offered. The lounge, with its inviting fireplace, and some rooms offer large windows with views of the outstanding historic town of Puebla de Sanabria. There are eight rooms with double beds and thirty rooms with twin beds at this Parador. The restaurant features the traditional products of Sanabria: 'habones' (large beans), trout and blackberry desserts.
