16th Century Renaissance Palace: View PDF

This Parador is in a 16th century palace, once the home of the Counts of Maceda. It is located the historical centre of the town and the architecture and interiors of this special Parador reflect its previous noble owners. There are stately stone staircases, antiques and classic furnishings throughout. The views of the garden are relaxing and here you may also enjoy dining al fresco. There are eleven double bedded rooms and thirty one twin rooms here, all ensuite and comfortably furnished. The restaurant has an aristocratic ambiance in harmony with the rest of the common areas; mirrors, paintings and candelabra enhance the culinary offerings of local meats and fish accompanied by the unique albariño whites, wines of I Ribeiro and Mencía. From 22-25 July a minimum two night stay with half board is mandatory. From 1 - 31 August an arrangement of accommodation and breakfast is required.
