friendly welcome and helpful staff. we had a room with a large balcony (one of only three i think) a definite bonus. i dont know why unless it was because we booked early and were staying three nights. good pool and comfortable public areas. enjoyed eating in the restaurant,choice, food and service good.

Uninviting outdoor swimming pool some way from the hotel. Had leaves in it.
There is a small indoor pool and gym in the basement which did not seem to be well promoted by the hotel.”

“One major issue which we raised with the management. Despite a resonable proportion of guests being from UK, the menus being in Spanish and English, restaurant staff did not speak English, and this caused major misunderstandings, to such an extent that on one evening we had an argument with the waitress about what we had ordered, which was not what she delivered. ”

“Lovely room, parking could be difficult, steep hill to walk back up! No information about local places of interest and very unhelpful about how to best visit Bilboa, maps, train timetables, motorway exits to use etc.”
