“This was the first parador we stayed in on this trip, and we were thrilled! The room was airy, gorgeous, new, & spacious; great bathroom and balcony. The complete dinner was superb. Lerma is a quiet, charming little town. The parador was so easy to get to. Great staff, too. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!”

Loved this place - easy drive from Madrid and really wonderful service.

AN EXCELLENT RECEPTION AREA AND A WARM WELCOME FROM THE STAFF.A VERY RELAXED AND PEACEFUL LOUNGE AREA WITH EXCELLENT WIFI RECEPTION/CONNECTION
THE BUFFET BREAKFAST WAS THE BEST WE HAVE EVER HAD ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD.
OUR ROOM WAS SUPERB AND VERY COMFORTABLE AND AIRY WITH GOOD AIR-CON.
WE WILL RETURN TO LERMA ON OUR NEXT VISIT TO SPAIN , USING THE PARADOR ON OUR WAY TO OUR GRANADA HOUSE AND AGAIN ON OUR WAY BACK TO SANTANDER.

WE COULDN'T GET A WIFI CONNECTION IN THE ROOM.
AFTER USING THE BATH THE WATER DID NOT RUN OUT OF THE BATHWASTE AS THE PLUG JAMMED.THIS MEANT THAT WE COULD NOT REUSE THE BATH.EVENTUALLY A MEMBER OF STAFF WAS ABLE TO REPAIR THE FAULT LATE AT NIGHT SO WE WERE UNABLE TO USE THE BATH UNTIL NEXT DAY.
THERE WAS NO RAZOR/SHAVING CREAM IN THE ROOM , BUT I WAS ABLE TO GET THEM FROM RECEPTION . XXXXX THE RAZOR WAS EXCELLENT QUALITY XXXXXXX”

We loved the building, so elegant, and a really nice place to be. I sat in the main lounge area with a book in the afternoon, the music was just as background music should be, and loved every minute of just being there.

Excellent location on route to the ferry at santander. Beautiful palace with excellent rooms. The price we paid was extremely reasonable at €99 incl a sumptuous breakfast.

The room we had was very spacious and the decor was excellent. We only stayed for one night so dined in the restaurant on site. The food and service was exceptional. The staff in the Parador were very helpful and friendly. This was our most favourtie place that we stayed in on our three week trip around Spain.

“The windows were large that opened up onto an amazing view. The room was decorated with flair and taste. The Paradore's common areas were extrodinary! The village was a classic. There were excellent restaurants in the village but no shopping. We highly recommend it.”

No WiFi in the allocated room despite being advertised as available all rooms.Responded well to my complaint and gave us a very good upgrade at little extra cost. In fact that was an amazingly good room with excellenr WiKf reception.
