In the centre of Ferrol, a seafaring city, this Parador is in the style of a Galician mansion with glazed galleries. The decor is nautical, with world maps and navigational instruments in the common rooms and spaces. The main staircase has an ancient lamp from a boat and the restaurant has a maritime theme. The bedrooms are spacious, in dark and ochre tones, some with balconies that have port views. The restaurant features Galician cuisine with dishes like pulpo a la mugardesa (octopus with potatoes), rape a la coruñesa (Coruña style monkfish) and sopa ferrolana (seafood soup). The typical cake from Ferrol justly heads the dessert menu. This Parador offers basic and standard double rooms (with two beds), a double with kingsize bed and views and a double with handicapped accessible facilities.
