The Parador de Tejeda lies in Cruz de Tejeda, 1,560m above sea level and 35 km from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. A typical Canary Island building, the Parador is located at Cruz de Tejeda, in the heart of the island, at the crossroads of old royal trails- which are still used by hikers. Cruz de Tejeda owes its name to a cross carved in 1690 that stands at the Parador`s entrance. Locals used this as a reference point in the seventeenth century. The hotel has magnificent views of the ravines and cliffs facing the ocean. The terrace is a perfect place to enjoy these views, as well as those of the Nublos (a 1,700-metre-high rock), Fraile and Bentayga hills. The Parador has forty three rooms, most of them with views of the large crater or caldera formed by volcanic activity and carved by water. The Parador's restaurant offers a regional menu including baifo (kid), watercress stew, rabbit salmorejo, papas arrugás and mojos, and bienmesable from Tejeda. There is an outdoor bar, El Mirador, a self-service cafeteria, an interior lounge featuring two magnificent fireplaces, and a spa with a swimming pool that almost reaches the border of the nearby pine forest.

Cancellation Policy:
A deposit equivalent to the first night's stay will be charged at the time of reserving. The remainder will be charged 30 days prior to the check-in date.
Reservations may be cancelled up to 72 hours before your reservation without penalty (Your deposits will be returned to you). If you cancel less than 72 hours before check-in, or in case of "no-show", the one-night deposit will be retained. If you shorten your stay once you have checked-in, the Parador may impose a penalty of one-nights stay.
