“Quaint building, and loved being in a small town. I had a view of the fortress from my window, and looked up at it at 3 am with the moon in view, and absolute silence outside. I won't forget that.”

“Lovely place, although the parking was odd. The meal was quite lovely and when we asked to our soup to be warmer/fresher (the seafood really tasted old), it was rapidly replaced and was delicious. ”

Beautiful atmospheric hotel with large traditional rooms. Welcome very good and all reception staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was probaby the most extensive we've encountered for many years.
Didn't Like:
Waitress at breakfast was a tad surly and dismissive, but that didn't detract from a wonderful spread”
