The Parador, Hotel La Muralla, occupies a modern building backing on to the ancient Royal Walls, in the Plaza de Nuestra Señora de África, the nerve centre of Ceuta. Its position offers a magnificent panoramic view of the sea, the historical centre of the city and even the coast of the Iberian peninsula. An impregnable fortress for centuries, the vaults of the former Artillery Stores were constructed on the city walls and are now fitted out as suites. The bedrooms look over a garden filled with palm trees, with a well cared-for swimming pool and exceptional views of the sea. Inside, representative elements of numerous civilizations are conserved, with the Arabic influence predominating. The furniture offers a classical and at the same time modern touch, and the dining room, decorated with abundant plants, offers Arabic and Andalusian flavors in fish and meats in sauces or with spices. In addition to standard double rooms with either two beds or one queensize bed, the Parador has double rooms with kingsize bed and hydromassage bath and double with two beds and living room.

Cancellation Policy:
A deposit equivalent to the first night's stay will be charged at the time of reserving. The remainder will be charged 30 days prior to the check-in date.
Reservations may be cancelled up to 72 hours before your reservation without penalty (Your deposits will be returned to you). If you cancel less than 72 hours before check-in, or in case of "no-show", the one-night deposit will be retained. If you shorten your stay once you have checked-in, the Parador may impose a penalty of one-nights stay.

“The hotel bar and restaurant were very nice. However, our room was very noisy due to construction outside. Also, as soon as we stepped off the ferry, we were approached by a man claiming to be from the tourist center -- he was very pushy and even got in the cab with us. The hotel staff knew this man and also seemed pushy about giving us a tour of Morocco. ”
