 Walled fortress overlooking the sea: View PDFOccupying the Monterreal Peninsula, this is a very special Parador - half medieval fortress and half Galician stately home, surrounded by a walled enclosure. It has impressive views over the ocean, and is flanked by a beautiful pine wood. The Parador has elegant common rooms with numerous antiques. Stately living rooms, a splendid stone staircase and spacious guest bedrooms, make this a fascinating place to stay. There is a gym, sauna, seasonal swimming pool and childrens play area at this Parador. The restaurant serves a regional cuisine with dishes such as sea-bass with razor clams in a sauce of turnip greens, seafood dishes, Santiago cake and 'filloas' (type of crepe) . In addition to double rooms with either two beds or one queensize bed, the Parador also has a handicapped accessible double, double with king bed and living room, double with king bed and views, double with two beds and living room, superior double and double with views. SPECIAL CONDITIONS: Minimum stay includes breakfast. A minimum arrangement of half board is compulsory in high season.
Family Information
Some Paradores can accommodate two adults and two small children (under 12) in a family room. For families with children over twelve, one child can share a room at the majority of Paradores, however two rooms are requred with multiple children over 12. Some Paradores offer cribs for small babies free of charge. Limited cribs per Parador. Please send an enquiry if you require a crib.

Cancellation Policy:
Your reservation will be guaranteed using the credit card which you are supplying to us. The entire amount of the reservation will be charged to your credit card 15 days prior to check-in and a receipt sent by email.
If you cancel before we charge your credit card, there is no penalty. If you cancel once we have made our charge, and at least 72 hours prior to check-in, we will return your deposit less 6% (the commission we pay to your credit card company). Cancellations less than 72 hours prior to check-in, and no-shows, will be charged one night. For large groups and special events a signed form will be required.
