In most cases, upon confirming your reservation a 10% NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT will be taken by Paradors.net The balance will be charged by the Parador at which you are staying. You must pay for extra charges (parking, taxes, food, etc.) upon departure from the Parador. A voucher will be emailed to you for presentation to the Parador at check-in. Because each Parador operates autonomously, occasionally a different process is followed and we will always advise you of this on your confirmation. Note that the deposit charge will appear on your statement as Inns en Route (head office Canada) and the balance of the charge from the Parador at which you are staying.
A charge of 6 euros may be made if you wish to CHANGE a confirmed reservation but any request for a change must be made at least 7 days prior to your reservation date. If you need to cancel a reservation you must send us an email or fax and you will be sent an acknowledgement. Important: if you do not receive an acknowledgement, it means that we have not received your cancellation. If you must cancel a reservation, please advise us in good time and definitely within the hotel's cancellation period. When you make a reservation, it is understood that you have read and agree to the cancellation policy and the terms and conditions listed on this site. Should you need to cancel your reservation, please contact us by email info@paradors.net or fax (from North America 1.604.648.9356 or, from Europe 001.604.648.9356). If you have a last-minute cancellation, you should also telephone the Parador – the telephone number will be on your voucher/confirmation. In all cases you must inform Paradors en Route. If cancelled more than 3 nights prior to reservation, a 6 euro charge is made by Paradores. If cancelled less than 3 nights prior to reservation or no-show, the Parador will charge the equivalent of one night's stay.
We will email you a confirmation voucher with dates, price, type of room, Paradores address, phone number and map details to help with driving. In most cases, you will have prepaid your stay at the Parador, so it is important that you present the voucher upon arrival. You won’t need anything else. Because we are an online service, we try to avoid paper. Just print off the confirmation and map and you are ready to go. There are a few Paradores where prepaid reservations are not accepted, and where this is the case we will send you a confirmation only and you will pay the full amount of your stay upon departure.
Again, we try for 12 hour turnaround, but on occasion it may take longer. We will keep in touch with you and send you ‘updates’. Do not make travel plans until you receive a confirmation of reservation email from us which will include a voucher. Don’t forget that our clients are from around the world and we are all on different time zones, which may delay the process.
We will advise you of availability, price and the process for making the reservation (which will always involve sending us a credit card guarantee). We try to have a 12 hour turnaround time. On occasion, it may take longer if there are problems with technological communication. As we have a global clientele, time differences also need to be taken into consideration. We will get the information for you as soon as possible.
Paradors en Route is part of Inns en Route Inc. (including Inns of France, Spain, Italy, Mallorca and Portugal). We are a registered and licensed travel agency, and as such, meet all required standards for insurance and service. It is our policy to not release any client information to 3rd parties other than the hotels at which you are staying.
